First I was in my elementary school looking out the window at a sunset which I wanted to photograph with my camera but it had the telephoto on so i had to switch to my other one but i couldnt find it in my backpack, just a bunch of random lenses ive never seen before that were scratched up. I feared someone would comment on what i was doing cause it felt like everyone always did that and some person came up behind me and started talking sbout how cool it was that I was photographing and had a camera. After that I somehow had some help by a woman for some reason and I then left and packed my bag and ran down the stairs. It was here i got like visions of Mike Shinodas instagram stories or soemthkng making a joke on how people said new jersey was bad or nothing happneed there or soemthing, then the staircases turned to like fire and suddenly i was outside. I took a left like I knew whwre i was going. Apparently I was in NYC now suddenly and I had to take the train station back to malmö, or home. I went there and there was a lot of guards and stuff, jist when i had passed all checkpoints (like to the aiport) i couldnt find my phone and i panicked, but alas it was on my hoodie hovering and i went to place it in my pocket but I found that womans phone from earlier. I panicked and tried to make my way back and there was this monologue in my head that said to hide the two phones since it was illegal to have two here in the NYC train station (for some reason). But the kicker was that i had already passed the checkpoints, so there was no way to take my train back to my school to return it. So i had to be honest with a person that worked there and explain that i hadnt stolen that second phone even if i had two which wasnt allowed. He looked my dead in the eye and said ”So what do you want to happen?” and I responded well I want to return the phone and he said ”Why don’t you keep it?”. Well, because its not mine, thats not right. He then said ”Nah man keep it, donate it to someone that actually gives a damn about their shit”. But I didnt want that so I went on ahead and then everything morphed into this weird fantasy place. A place where the train station people had actually hidden because it was like an anamoly, so they disguised it as just a checkpoint that they didnt let anyone through. I then had to like solve a puzzle almost and went through mazes and shit until I reached the end. I stepped outside of the door and suddenly i was back in the real world. The people behind me was weird fantasy figures but they couldnt follow me for some reason. I was also currently behind hunted down by Diddy (the rapper who has been convicted of sexual crimes) for some reason cause he wanted to stop me and they warned me not to go back to the school to return it, everyone did. And i even got a message from him saying that he knew what i was doing. But I decided agianst their warnings because I just felt like I had to, i didnt even question that. This scene might have taken place by that guy i was talking to but im not sure. So before the fantasy stuff. I then went on ahead and I think I woke up. Or i did after the fantasy segment. I do also remember that the woman’s phone was smaller and less expensive than mine which felt significant
Interpreting dreams can be a fascinating exploration of your subconscious mind. This particular dream is rich in symbolism and emotional undertones. Let’s explore the different elements:
Elementary School Setting: Being back in an elementary school suggests a return to your roots or early development phase. It might reflect a desire to reconnect with simpler times or aspects of yourself that were more innocent and less complicated by adult responsibilities.
Camera and Lenses: Cameras and lenses in dreams often relate to perspectives and how you view the world. The malfunctioning equipment, with scratched lenses you’ve never seen before, may symbolize perceived challenges in understanding or capturing life’s moments with clarity. The stress of not having the right tools could reflect anxieties about being judged or criticized by others.
Involvement of Others: The presence of the person who appreciates your photography skills may indicate a desire for recognition or validation from others. The woman who helps you might symbolize a guide or mentor figure aiding your journey, reflecting support systems in your life.
Visions of Mike Shinoda and Fire: Being in NYC and visions of Mike Shinoda joking about New Jersey suggest a sense of being caught between different cultures or environments. Fire on the stairs might symbolize transformation, danger, or obstacles that you need to navigate carefully.
Train Station to Malmö: This transition suggests a journey or transition in real life, perhaps moving towards or longing for a place of comfort and familiarity (home). The checkpoints mirror life’s barriers and the need to surpass them.
Panic About Phones: Losing your phone and the legal issues around possession of two phones might symbolize a fear of losing connection or communication. Holding someone else’s phone could represent carrying responsibilities or burdens that don’t belong to you.
Ethical Dilemma and “Keep the Phone”: Being advised to keep the phone can symbolize moral dilemmas you’re currently facing and questioning your values or decisions. Needing to return the phone highlights a desire to do what's right, even amidst confusion or external pressure.
Fantasy Place and Puzzle: The transformation into a fantasy world after dealing with real-world pressures indicates the dual nature of your psyche – the reality you face and the escape or creativity your mind retreats into. Solving puzzles might represent overcoming obstacles and seeking deeper understanding or truth.
Being Hunted by Diddy: This could symbolize feeling pursued or pressured by celebrity figures or societal expectations, especially related to issues of personal integrity and past actions catching up with you. It may reflect fears about public scrutiny or judgement.
Returning to School Despite Warnings: Ignoring warnings and going back to the school might reflect a strong internal desire to confront your past, resolve unfinished business, or adhere to your principles despite external advice to do otherwise.
Woman’s Phone Being Smaller and Less Expensive: This might symbolize comparing your own worth or value against others’ and leads to self-reflection on what you possess versus anyone else's apparent value systems. It can also be a metaphor for responsibilities or burdens that seem more minor or outdated in contrast to your own.
Overall, this dream hints at themes of personal growth, ethical dilemmas, facing judgment, and reconciling different parts of your life journey. It suggests a need for clarity, balance, and authenticity as you navigate complex situations.
